This female puppy (thought to be a Great Dane) was picked up as a stray by animal control and is now at Pasco County Animal Services in Land O Lakes, FL (and was put on the euthanasia list until a rescue commitment was found). She is very thin (only 10lbs) and has a very severe skin condition. Also, her tail was attempted to be cut off, presumably by an abusive previous owner.
She has not seen a vet, but the rescue that has committed to her care is coming to pick her up in the morning So after she spends one more night suffering in the Animal Control shelter, she will be in good hands. After she is taken to a vet, she will be transferred to Recycled Orphans Animal Rescue. The focus right now is on reviving this pup’s health, but once that goal is met, she will be up for adoption.
However, her vet bills will obviously be expensive! So ROAR has set up a site for people to donate to her care. Even if you can only spare a dollar, it will go directly towards the rehabilitation of this dog. Please, go to the ROAR FundRazr Page if you can donate to this cause!
And please reblog this post! The more exposure this post gets, the more likely it is to reach the fundraising goal for this puppy’s vet bills!
